Berkshire Taconic Foundation offering a $10K Grant to address Affordable Housing in Tri-Corner MA/NY CT area. Great Inspiration and Collaboration Required.

This sounds great. From ideas from www.gaia.org which draws on permaculture practices from around the world, the more people who can advocate for themselves, the more likely they will receive support.

Housing is a fundamental need and the connection between having enough people to run a town, fill a school and keep business afloat is being made in terms of needs and problems, and now thankfully solutions.

In Canada, people are provided with housing, cars (to get to work) and healthcare.

The Good News is that I've had help transferring my blog site to www.livfully.org. The 'bad news' is that Change is (or was) hard and there were some challenges and costs (about 150 dollars for three more years and then likely that rate again.) The title of this put in the news that Drupal Gardens, my former host site, was ending its blog services Aug 1st, 2016. Folks won't be redirected to this new site, www.livfully.org, so please let them in on that shift.

Thankfully I had the do-re-mi (thought doughnations will be welcome soon as I link a PayPal with this site, and maybe sell some

Bike Lanes, Concerns and More...

This piece can also be viewed on Google Docs. I need to check to see how this would be easy to click on and get there, so this will remind me and maybe it would work even though not highlighted. I am learning computers at a painfully slow pace.. but maybe that's part of my process to encourage others to get on the schtick or the fast lane of acquiring skills...

This lengthy piece can be viewed in a larger format on Google Docs with the following link. I recommend that, but also if you are wanting a more modest version or kid-friendly version, use the Part One tab on the post for that.  A link to Part Two will be on a separate post.

Do not use this to teach per se, but as a general guide with many of my own insights added to put a greater appreciation alongside the physical body and functions.

Like the Leaves the Grow and Change, so do the seasons of our lives, and people in them...Reflections on Kaelan Paton's passing June 16th, 2009 in the MA/NY CT tri-corner area

Remembering Kaelan Paton
LEAVES
by Kaelan Palmer Paton, age 9
Lovely colors like a painting
Eventful seasons with extraordinary golds
Amazing shapes like thin ice on the water
Valuable reds fill the air
Easy yellows come down before deep oranges
Simple browns come down last but not least

It can be comforting to reflect on the personality and spirit of a person who is no longer walking the Earth. A youtube video of a Memorial Service for Kaelan Paton may bring others comfort if facing difficulty or loss.
