Hello from the Brooklyn Clinton Hill Block Festival about to get under way... I have my 'Turtle Garden' Acorns to Oaks area set up...for people to come chill, enjoy some free books and toys for the kids..
 
.I'm promoting wearing Green with some razzle dazzle as people may be apt to draw on their own tee shirts or get one I've secured for a few bucks...or a bit more with an order of some that read Clinton Hill Growing Strong. Feel free to promote friendly networking in your area with such signs, designs and pop-up gatherings.

I found a link to a Washington Post story on "Gendered Violence" about research by Joan Meier a FB page for DVSur5r.com based in NH.  Kathy Jones has an important initiative and every state could seek to emulate what she offers. Same with caprotectiveparents.org which addresses custody matters. There are many statistics based on terrible if not tragic situations that more people need to ponder, from victims to advocates, the public and legislatures. Please Make Time to Learn about these pressing matters!

There about 1000 moms done in each year and 200 children by abusive men in their lives

Sometimes I want to make notes to myself, but I may also want to 'tell the world.' Thankfully I remember to put things on my blog here at livfully.org. I did enjoy the Kumbe Dance Co performance at Fort Greene Park this morning in Brooklyn NY, so inspiration on all fronts. Good luck exploring new ideas and ways of moving in friendship and health. All the best to all fortunate to attend the Clinton Hill Block Festival this weekend. Thanks for donating to the gofundme.com and appreciating the works and love of the late Mrs.Sharon Robinson which the festival is a tribute to this year.

Climate Reality Project, Friends of Earth.org Urge Activism and Support (yes $$$)

While 'we've all heard of climate change' and have seen evidence of coastal flooding (where 40% of residents live with predictions for higher numbers still), we may not know 'where to turn for reputable information' and key ways to get involved.

Thanks to the outreach online, The Climate Reality Project and Friends of Earth.org are making some headway in getting the word out. We are on the clock, and 'turning back the hands of time' is what we can strive to do to buy us precious years and decades...but it won't be easy.

Nov. 7-11, 2019 Daily: Gregg Braden's Group Talks in New Mexico USA

Scientists, Mystics and Sages is a very intriguing conference that will hatch out in Santa Ana Pueblo in New Mexico. The subtitle is "Igniting the New Human Story.' The conference cost is below a thousand dollars ( Not including the cost of the hotel or travel etc, although there are some special rates at a couple of hotels....) Check out more online and see some inspiring videos. Likely some amazing people will be finding their way to the conference, in addition to those presenting! I am definitely interested...and will see what's in the stars for me.
