Even though one is not in NYC, the Business Outreach Center Network Model is one that could inspire women worldwide. What drives business? How might one get started, whether moving a hobby to a business or pursuing a bigger business plan?

There is a lot on Sba.gov (Small business Association) in every state to learn about funding sources, having a business plan and getting registered if need be and a federal tax ID among other basics. There are some programs designed to help women as well as minorities or start-ups and for those looking for loans to stay in business or grow particularly in these COVID times.

I’ll offer from my permaculture program ten years ago that meeting the needs of others is a key factor–so services for helping people live independently or with support, get food, housing and schooling and other learning needs met, enjoy life with social, athletic, community, faith and business support. There’s business to business services as well, serving regional or wider areas and of course online marketing.

That’s my wisdom in a nutshell. One place I was happy to learn about is BOC, Business Outreach Center, so check them out as bocnet.org. Even if you are not in their service area, there may be inspiration and wisdom to gain and emulate in your state and region. Good luck and Happy Earning and Learning in Life and Business as You Grow as a Team Player!
