Guess Who Got to Go to the New Life Expo in NYC? That'd be me and hundreds of others, very cool folks and of course rather "A-Maze-Sing" presenters! Tune into the vibes...

Of course I expected some wild and wonderful folks to be at the NEW LIFE EXPO in NYC when I went for a day. But I met a homeless fellow named Ryan who was across the street from the venue before I even got to it. He received a credit gift card with 'some value still on it'. I encouraged him to put it towards attending and learning, since it was 20 dollars for the day. I then helped a woman who was on her way to Israel) load two pieces of luggage into the trunk of a car a fellow was driving and who was stopped at a red light.

Not wanting to be a party pooper, but watch those sugars. Short of that, Watch the Online Talks by Dr. Anna Cabeca on many key topics from soup to nuts, so to speak...hormones, blood sugars and lots more. We'll keep this short so you can get to the parties for St. Patrick's Day on this Friday, March 17th, 2017! Bring on the Luck of the Irish and Every Other Nationality.

I finally got some laundry done I'd been putting off, took a nap, got lots of visiting in with folks from Texas to New York at an ol' home week in CT with the winter wonderland storm thankfully not being too much of an issue

I feel fortunate to catch up on the great works by relatively small ongoing efforts to bring hope to a hurting world. Two efforts I have gotten to help in very small ways over the last few decades help those in Haiti: Hopital Albert Schweitzer was the first I learned of from efforts in the Tri-Corner (MA/NY CT) area that faith groups and Rotary Clubs raised funds for with leadership from Inge Dunham and a Hope for Haiti outreach begun at the Sharon Congregational Church in Sharon CT

Brooklyn Permaculture, Google for more meetings and details on Meetup.com (lots of other cool gatherings too in most areas)

Brooklyn NY is fortunate to have Andrew Faust providing steady gathering opportunities for all people to learn about helping themselves and the Plan-It Earth while we have window of opportunity. Lots to learn online or in person at monthly meet-ups in Brooklyn NY, generally at The Commons from 7-9pm on the third Friday. Permaculture Basics is offered for more in-depth studies (again some info and options online so don't worry if you're not in the North East.) Thanks for doing your part to live simply and network with a team of support to get more done with the resources you have.

I appreciate you taking time to explain that feeling of it's not fair paying for others who want free stuff. I have heard that over the years when people on state or federal programs get dental (or medical coverage) and others, often working at higher rates of pay, do not (even if they had insurance through their jobs or were paying part or all of it.)

There are many issues that deserve a lot of attention from the 'concerned masses' who are often cornered with few options (pick one's poison or politician some say.)

That likely needs a major review.
