Some of these acronyms pop up in my mind before I'm awake. I'm lucky if I can get my brain to shift into gear and catch the idea as though a fish on a line and reel it in. Then if I can Remember it a few minutes or more later when I am up and running so much the better.

For every idea I remember a dozen or so get on by the ol' memory bank. I actually met a professor at a NY University who was researching how the brain remembers things using mathematical algorhythms.

Cool as that was to hear, I didn't think I'd take time to make note of it, but wha-la, he got a little billing here.

With summer in the air (and tornadoes and even hurricane season news in Puerto Rico), it's time to think 'safety in numbers' and "musical numbers to keep our minds off the scary stuff" or maybe to Fundraise for the Causes whether locally or globally. I want to keep my priorities straight and the news that Puerto Rico is Not Ready for the new hurricane season is something locals are working to address in that sunny island and likely could use all the help they can get.

I've blogged about driving issues in other posts on www.livfully.org. but here's a few more thoughts from a FB post regarding Rethinking the Signage of the Goshen Circle in CT. Google for the latest but it's a set of 'lollipop signs' to direct cars to travel in a counter clockwise direction at a 4-way intersection which can get busy at times. Regarding the Goshen circle ideally people could all work to approach the circle from a mile in each direction with much more care.

Signage Warning about schools ahead, circle and so on would be helpful.

Hello Everyone as Memorial Day arrives...I just came from a nice event at the Audubon with a hundred or more folks seeing an owl released after a nice reception under the tent (catered by Freund's and with wine donated by a Kent store..5th yr in a row, but I don't drink...maybe eat a bit more than I should.) It was nice to be back on the property and consider the many good years there...the new director is nice and very skilled many say, Elizabeth Fielding, PhD.

She gave a brief talk about the importance of caring for the natural habitats of migratory birds up and down the Eastern Coast

To Start on a Promising Note and One of Respect for All who've served in the armed services and 'paid the ultimate sacrifice of dying in battle or from their wounds', I am lighting a symbolic candle. I find it helpful to remember loved ones who have crossed over at this time collectively as well. Each soul braving their life faces challenges no one can really know. I would add that many hometown heroes may also have had only moments to decide whether to save another at great risk or actual loss of their own precious life.
