Practice first aid and fire safety as well as making PLANS to stay in touch with someone everyday about your whereabouts, or leave  a note if you travel, etc so people can be in touch with you. Don't do risky things or be too spontaneous with your plans.

Nice to join a club or two, get to know neighbors or people in your community as feels appropriate over time. Everybuddy deserves a team of support with real people one can see, talk with, network with and work with on projects or at work or in school. Think of good programs on the radio or online that you can listen to or videos or TV shows you can see regularly to keep up with some cultural trends. Same with music, tune in.

Get creative with journaling, taking walks, making life plans and short-term goals to have support, financially and socially and even spiritually.
