When People Leave With Sadness and Apparently 'At Their Own Hand", Let's Take a Moment and Reflect..and Care
Difficult news in CT and FL, apparent suicides of people who had lost friends or family in shooting event in the past. Sincere condolences to the families, friends and the spirits of those who have crossed over in a difficult manner. This response is offered to reflect on this kind of situation in general and is not in any way trying to minimize the heartache and difficulty the families, friends and even fellow national and worldwide citizens feel when learning of such tragedies.
Maybe reasons such as 'survivor guilt' or missing a loved one (in the case of a father for instance losing a child.) Yet Behind those 'rational reasons' there could be other things that even the person in despair didn't really understand, Maybe a chemical imbalance (see other recent posts), an emotional tendency to act in rather than to act out or reach out for help. Women often can be prone to acting in and men to acting out. Then there are beliefs about the way should work and what is fair or what makes for a reason to 'stop living'.Consider seeing ideas from Option.org
All of these kinds of difficulties and losses are informing our human condition in these trying times on many fronts. Hopefully we can find out more about what happened, and any warning signs...as well as ways we could all support ourselves as we hear of sad things going on in our areas and nearby states. I think we need more volunteer networks to help give support to anyone who needs it or would be willing to consider more 'mental health and other life challenges first aid and ongoing support...'
Unfortunately many people are not aware of how feelings, emotions, beliefs, and much more are critical to understand and learn about as much as diet and exercise or even practical driving or other tips...
We are human beings...and really spiritual as well as social and physical..so likely we can accept 'there's more to consider than meets the eye.' The New Life Expo just wrapped up on NYC and will be back in October. I will list some of the highlights of my experience...and the list is still up to see who may be of help with the kinds of issues our society doesn't seem to have ways to address by and large..
Peace to one and all...and let's all take it easy as we can about having things a certain way in a specific way etc...and feeling there's no one who could possibly understand our pain...There is more help than one might imagine and mainly online if one is feeling shy about actually talking to someone about Anything...
