Climate Change Tips for a Brighter Safer Path and Sense of Team plus talk of Babes and Blessings

A friend and I got talking about unusual births from the past. I shared that I had heard of a the four identicals that happened in Canada not too long ago, all girls by the way...and she said there was a case in the 1930s of 5 identicals so I'll look that up...My friend Karen Cochran is writing a book about some Siamese twins from last century who sang harmoniously and got along well.

I always think if folks like that can get along with one another, how hard can it be for people who are not literally joined together...Some twins Linnea's age in WI I think made me ponder that when I read about them...I have heard they are doing well with their lives that still work well together as do their logistical physical experiences...

I heard a talk on the The Moth Radio yesterday, 2/5/2021, about a Howie and Cindy, a book with that name too, (or Cynthia...and I am remembering her name since he sent her a seed packed starting with C for her name and H for his as well as others that spelled LOVES.

They had met when she was 19 and he was in his 20s...but didn't reconnect until she was 81 and he was in his was still older..They did have 5 years together and it was a sweet story 'almost against all odds'.

I summarized the talk on Climate Change and Adaptations for regular people by David Pogue on this site, from a post on 2/5/21, and what people may want to think about in terms of 'adapting to the changes that are coming...and to be ready for any kind of storm etc with basic safety plans and a 'go bag'.

Take a photo or video of important papers and everything in your house for insurance reasons and one's memory too...that's a tip I'll throw in. I feel I am more versed in some of these ideas of 'facing challenges' since I've had plenty in the last 30 years and even a few before that...but it's all about team I think not just everyone watching out for oneself whether aging, ailing, or adapting to climate change....or other local  or social  or legal challenges...

The whole conundrum at the Capitol in DC is showing the weak links in the chain of common sense and organization that no state or town can afford to deny is important to upgrade plans about... Helping people feel there is a path toward managing any crisis simply makes sense and helps put things in a more likely way of being addressed before things get out of hand...

Let's keep working in positive ways to improve things on all fronts, shall we, and as a team in wider senses of the word. Not everyone is going to be able to move to 42nd parallel (latitude) near the Great Lakes and other fresh water sources...or might we have a way to help people do something along those lines? A Vassar Alum with a Time Out Grant for a year not long ago studied the similarities in agriculture along a similar kind of latitude so the idea of the top part of the earth reaching out to what we may think of the southern part may need to be developed.

Let's get those feelings and friendships for healing and helping one another flowing in February 2021 and onward...and no more 'scrubbing the term climate chage and effects' from the US gov't databases and leaving people in the dark, cold and high and dry or swamped without warning! For family and community starters, see the Turtle Garden Permaculture Game and Turtle Garden Circle of Friends (TGCOF...and even the story I wrote, The Turtle and The Acorn by Catherine Palmer Paton.
