Brooklyn Permaculture, Google for more meetings and details on Meetup.com (lots of other cool gatherings too in most areas)

Brooklyn NY is fortunate to have Andrew Faust providing steady gathering opportunities for all people to learn about helping themselves and the Plan-It Earth while we have window of opportunity. Lots to learn online or in person at monthly meet-ups in Brooklyn NY, generally at The Commons from 7-9pm on the third Friday. Permaculture Basics is offered for more in-depth studies (again some info and options online so don't worry if you're not in the North East.) Thanks for doing your part to live simply and network with a team of support to get more done with the resources you have. All the best and see my PC project about Turtle Garden Permaculture Game to learn about the ethics and principles as well as a basic design process which can prove helpful for any group or project to reference and implement!

For March 17, 2017 at The Commons in Brooklyn NY 7-9pm (for $5 donation if possible)

Watershed Based Models of Economic Development

We will be looking into creating more localized ecologically informed, socially responsible and profitable directions of economic growth.

It is not a matter of growth or no growth regionally it is a matter of what do we want to grow and how to go about it?

That is the central question we are exploring in a research report I am working on, taking the Hudson valley watershed as a base map to design a more diverse, local ecological and socially just economy and infrastructure around.
