With more concerns to face as a community, let's remember all we've pulled through with courage and care. Many thanks to the steadfast hard work of those in the rescue teams, firefighters and earnest police as well.
 
There is a lot more to what transpired when Kaelan passed (and I wrote over the years online, Remembering Kaelan Alexander Palmer Paton....)
 
More people are seeing the connections between systemic and even local shortcomings or 'breaks in the systems' as well as the need for more voluntary networking and support for people to have the basics and to be accountable.

Thought I'd share the feedback I just shared with Vassar about the June reunion for our Class of 1985 to encourage other people to brave where no reunions have gone before (for the most part.) It's really amazing to have ways to connect with tech and 'just doing it' already...so hope we have more of those for many kinds of groups. I have friends on FB feeling the same way, reconnecting with people from their past and families finding ways to keep in touch with a weekly call.

The local government and such in my area air the programs online (CATV6.com) so kudos to all doing the work of getting

https://youtu.be/gIF9yuuLof0 This talk will likely interest anyone whose heard of 'Advance Directives' which involves appointing a healthcare representative and/or a Living Will (medical care decisions whether to take life-saving measures or not, depending on one's choices in various settings and reasons.)

Too often people in the medical field, caregiving, even family may not clearly understand the terms of 'DNR' (Do Not Resuscitate if someone is without a pulse) if they did not want that...but often DNR may be misinterpreted as 'Do Not Treat'(and allow to die.)
