Our wonderful last leg  (as in 3-legged stool or hike) of the Folk-Legacy Records, Inc tri-founders, Caroline Paton, passed away in the early morning hours of Monday, March 18th, 2019 in a comfortable place she had lived for many months in her community, not far from where she, her late husband Sandy (Charles Alexander) Paton and their late fellow founder Lee Haggerty had run their recording studio and mail order company for over fifty years  (that's a  whole lot of singin' and packin'  to distributors and individuals) in Sharon CT.

With my time in Brooklyn NY being colored in deep blue and purple hues of sadness from the Sheffield MA area, I feel grateful to have gotten through this week with a renewed sense of treasuring people and places in my life. It's not all rosy but I actually have people close to me with that name who travelled a few hours to see me and then scooted up to the hometown area to see Rip Van Winkle, a musical by Michael Berkeley at the Housatonic Valley Regional High School in Falls Village CT. I was fortunate to see one of the earlier presentations.

When hearing of people passing without warning, or even when anticipated, we can naturally feel like we are in a void. 'What now?!" can be a question in the back of our mind and knocking around in our heart. How can I make sense of my life or of what happened..someone's passing in our circles whether close or a bit farther out can be very disconcerting.

How to 'rebalance' and remember our grounding values and find others to relate our experiences to and see how they are faring?
