15th Battered Mothers Custody Conference by googling more info.

Some of the speakers will be on zoom 

but meeting the people there and learning is powerful .  It can take

energy and effort to attend if one is close to a custody case or involved

in one, so weigh the factors with friends and 

do what works for you. Sorry for the extra highlighting, but that's

something I'll check into. Hope it will resolve when I post this.

Thank you for looking at ways you can help support this family in their time of need after a house fire in North Canaan CT in mid-February 2022. Thankfully they are safe and sound. So that's the miracle amidst the ashes.

Let's all be careful about home and car safety and find ways to check on one another especially if cold weather or other safety concerns like black ice, snow squalls, cold temps (and try to run heat and even let water dribble to avoid frozen pipes.)

Check Smoke and CO Detectors and find ways to promte that in a community...easier said than done but a great effort to pursue

Everyone can take a moment to pause and if comfortable, take some deep breaths (yawning is okay to allow for a deep breath and relax, maybe even wiith gargling for a moment to relax the vagus nerve which is a helpful tip if nervous or having hiccups etc.)

Then one can place one or both hands on one's heart and 'relax and connect' with the sense of inner peace, the earth we are living on, nature and any sense of connection with caring people, places and higher loving energies, naming those as one may wish.

Changes to Region 1 COVID-19 Safety Protocols (Public Announcement As Shared Online. Region One Schools include the public schools in Falls Village, North Canaan, Salisbury, Sharon, Kent and Cornwall)
As a result of the shift to an alternative approach to controlling the spread of COVID-19, the State Department of Education (CSDE) has partnered with the CT DPH to create a set of guidelines that will help schools safely manage their school environments at this time. These guidelines become effective in Region 1 on Tuesday, March 1, 2022.
