WASHINGTON, DC – Today, U.S. Representative Hakeem Jeffries (NY-08) spoke on the floor of the House of Representatives about the killing of George Floyd and the rise in police violence throughout America.
 

“Madame Speaker, I respect those police officers in every community that are there to protect and serve and those who have fallen in the line of duty.

 

But we cannot tolerate police violence, and we cannot tolerate police brutality.

Just came across the Comment Below info from FB Rules and Terms... and feel it's worth sharing since 'rules are rules' whether we know them or not... pertaining even to coveted free speech... I quote from part of the FB guidelines and terms:

Here are a few notes I shared with some friends...and figured I'd offer a closer look to some who may feel, "Hey, I can relate..." I'll update with any changes and hopefully Progress along these lines... Mainly I'm inspired by oodles of things I've heard from New Life Expo (and feel more informed.)
 
One point that left me speechless (yes, me... for about three minutes...) was that there was a solar flare that almost toasted our planet ( just a large part of it apparently) a few years ago...yeeks...But Something made the big bad solar flare go away...as in averted it from coming into our

What about Police Brutality people spoke out about on FB...some with more caution than others

Here's my response to comments made on a FB post picturing a black athlete 'taking a knee' and a  white cop holding a black man down by the neck (which I had not realized was from the recent George Floyd tragic crime but now have learned more about online) with his knee..

FB Comments were depicting the horror of police brutality, calling it unjust and criminal...one saying 'all cops are criminals (a stronger word I won't repeat...) One suggested making filming all steps of a police interaction mandatory which sounded like a good plan.
