Backing Up A Bit Before Launching Forward! Look Before You Speak, Knock, Answer, or Loan (and more of course)

TheLakevilleJournalFoundation.org is a site for all in the tri-corner "MA/NY ConnecT" or MA/NY/CT area to learn about and join in for a more informed and fabYouloUS future! See the coverage of the 125th Year Celebration and learn more from archives online from over the past many decades. Here is a link to help you think on the plus-side of having independent journalism and local news coverage being assured a place for many years, online at least and on news stands or sent via snail mail years to come.

https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=610593763847424 Captures some photos of the illustrious and enjoyable Sam Waterston and Meryl Streep who were co-chairs (and big donors) of the event with the newly formed foundation during the pandemic becoming a helpful resource that was given support from the government to stay afloat.

It's important to mark the steps other programs are struggling with memberships as are communities needing more young people and others able to volunteer on committees and 'run the town' even if there are some paid leadership positions.

It wouldn't hurt to have a recruitment and promotion sector of the papers of both Lakeville CT and Millerton NY that could also connect more with what is going on in Great Barrington MA (a three-legged stool of support, with a lot of helpful service and ad info shared weekly in TheShoppersGuide.Inc which is delivered to thousands and is online. If each library and faith group in the area could have a newspaper (at least print copy but hopefully the digital one as well) the flow of information and people sharing in events and efforts would bloom.

Thanks to all who have kept the boat afloat and talken time to record their own life story and that of others that have helped our communities grow through many efforts and manage when times are more challenging. I cover plenty of resources of the area and beyond here on Livfully.org and would welcome help and support with my efforts as well! Many thanks and be in touch on my public FB pages Livfully and Catherine Palmer Paton to network or get info to donate!
