Emergence by Derek Rydall, a book, a law and a movement (and lucky us, one of his many podcasts)
I appreciate hearing people share important views and information, their own or stuff they've learned along the way. I have a copy of Derek Rydall's book Emergence, and am now hearing a podast he did on it about root causes and what factors into how our lives unfold. I hope you can tune in and I'll share a few more thoughts as I hear more about the theories and views he shares. He is saying that slavery was a symptom of the belief that we are consumers and need things from the outside to be fulfilled. The chasing after more things to be more and complete.
He even offers ideas that we would be okay as human beings if we didn't have cell phones! That's right, folks, he is asserting that advertizing is based on convincing people they have needs to keep consuming to define our worth and value as people. We need to rethink everything he is sharing , so we can consider ourselves as creators not only consumers on many lives including beliefs, thoughts, ideas and then 'the things' that are required to fit in and function in this world as defined by the world. He offers that this is an insatiable goal if external to us. We are sovereign beings and truly the creators of our stories, lives and world.
The song that comes to mind is that we're "waiting, Waiting, Waiting for the world to change!" When you understand that you are the creator of your throughs and beliefs and all you are, then you can be free from outside definitions then you can be the creator of all you are doing and thinking. He suggests most people are not aware of the inflow of the feelings and the resulting emotional state in one's body.
Generating what you feel, thoughts, relationships and being who you want to be ratther than insisting others must change or provide a new way. Standing strong and clear in one's sovereign self and aspects of one's being one wants to highlight. This time of political unrest and decision making is important, but Wake Up and Tune In to one's internal reality.
Do we have authentic experiences, reflective of a divine, energetic sense of being? Nelson Mandala offered that he is 'the creator of his life." Hope this is helpful to get you up and running to hear more and consider what your inner heart is saying...Remember life happens through us and as us... Here's to a life of evolving with love (that's my two cents...)
