In the Next 20 Years, Energy Concerns Key to Address

Overall he is touting the benefits of using Thorium (which is found in some plentiful amounts in India and other parts of the world) instead of uranium to have nuclear power.  He asserts there is far less risk in the nuclear power process when using thorium and does not result in long-lived isotopes.

Likely it would make sense to watch carefully and take notes (stopping and processing the information as well as a few times with friends.) The Ted Talk CERN is one to keep abreast of when hearing these kinds of talks and hopefully meaningful options.
