Considering how the medium is the message...such as on Medium.com

Here's a link to the way writers on Medium.com can partner to receive proceeds from readers via the site's agreements.

Check out ways to benefit from partnering with medium.com
I keep intending to look through the fine print but have an account, medium.com/@livfully  I welcome support with the tech aspects of my blog livfully.org as well (transferring posts one by one into a format that would work with wordpress, and lots more...Thanks if you want to think on this with me or otherwise encourage the independent blogging and coverage efforts I do through networking and attending many events in the tri-corner area and in Brooklyn NY...Making the world a more cordial functional place and applauding many efforts of others doing so as well.

Check out The Lakeville Journal and their request for memberships to receive donations annually to close a gap of $100K annually to meet their budgets and keep the good efforts flowing. The paper and others are archived digitally as well and are a great resource to our country. The coverage of the Death in Canaan events and advocacy for taped fair interviews in the 1970s changed how the US did business (at least officially) and likely is part of  many other key strides to keep justice above-board.

Thanks to Donald Connery and many others, not the least of whom is Peter Reilly, who could be recognized more for their contributions even these many decades later (and recount what has been done to understand the story behind the dark times and how more brought to light by local and skilled professionals working together in a timely fashion. A similar effort is needed to reform domestic violence and mental health systems. Safe and Together Institute and CA Protective Parents Association (see their work online about Proposal 3118 to provide more protection for victims of abuse in custody conflicts.)

Physical ailments like cancer are treated as a biological puzzle but more weight is being given to early childhood experiences and social difficulties if not abuse as also factoring into causes of many kind of illness. The more everyone puts their attention on healing and intending to shed light on root causes, help more people understand mental health first aid and alleviating more stress on women, children and even men in many aspects of their lives, the sooner 'problems will de escalate for many. Thanks for being part of the journey of growth and improvement and deeper understanding of root causes and meaningful connections...

Feel free to drop a note in a PM or leave a message on 860-626-5199... and eventually I'll put a paypal account up for donations to my efforts as well, following in the Journal's footsteps to stay in the game, though I've done everything for free for decades so far as a way to 'give back with appreciation' and help create a more positive community in the tri-corner area and Brooklyn NY as well... Thanks to all doing their part and encouraging others, even themselves, as they can. It all adds up!

Nice to skim through a video on CATV6 which records meetings of Board of Ed meetings, such as one in early Nov.2019 at HVRHS Here's a note I put about that on FB when Marshall Miles posted it.... I want to learn more about the 16 habits of mind that are helpful to cultivate among people of all ages. From China to HVRHS logos and being recognized as one of the top 5K high schools with STEM success (out of 20K) in the US and hearing that creativity is being considered (as Pam Vogel was saying she went to Santa Monica where a school was doing well in that area...) I'll have to revisit this.

Meanwhile it's important to help kids get to school and not have 'chronic absenteeism' as in 10% (18 days) or more of days out of school.

That said I think there is a lot of room for towns close the high school to enrich offerings to students after school and on the weekends, hosting learning weekends and more.

Some kids would be able to stay in town from Fri afternoon through Mon and maybe have a trip to GB or Torrington from there (consider the kids from Kent or Sharon feeling those towns were more in their circuit than not.) Parents could arrange all sorts of things informally and through the recreation depts, scouts and such... See more on livfully.org on various posts...Thanks for posting this coverage, Marshall Miles!
