Wishing All Dads and Dad-types and Support Teams a Happy Father's Day 2018!=

With a bright warm Sunday in the northeast of the US, most Dads likely woke up with a sense of gratitude for 'a day off' (generally speaking.) Many towns and roads are much quieter on Sundays and hopefully most people did not think of that as an opportune time to jump on a lawnmower or push one to liven up their neighborhood. Ideally Dads really got a day off!

If not, plan one soon and let a few in your circle pitch in or listen to your next great project or idea to brighten your corner of the world. If you've wanted to play an instrument, check out the electric pianos which can sometimes be found for a bargain or at least on sale. Maybe take a few lessons or see a youtube or other coaching program.

The same goes for other instruments, some simple ones like a penny whistle (some lower sounding and others higher pitched, alto or tenor recorders or an Indian flute such as the ones formerly played by the late Joseph Firecrow.) Why not listen to some of his music (again online, and even see a playful show by the Grumbling Gryphons to get your creative thespian juices flowing.

Maybe even go to a show...I know that may sound more like Mother's Day fare, but guess what, make it a date and you'll find lots of fun along the way. Dinner or other outing blending with the show, maybe meet friends along the way. Bowling, hiking, or basic bird watching are all good options. Bring the camera and take some pictures of you and yours out in nature, maybe striking a balance or other pose (see yogabycandace.com for some inspiration and tips on loosening up so you don't end up in the ER.) 

I spent the day with lots of family who've come from various parts of the northeast and the country for some special occasions. Likely you're just a few peeps away from some good times along those lines or more communal events such as high school or college graduations, summer and faith gatherings and community celebrations and fundraisers

Volunteerism is a always a welcoming way to make friends and pitch in to the non-profits and even friends who may need a hand or some guidance on a project (if you are in need, look no further than your local library or recreation committee or other community center or fire department or ambulance squad or hospital.) Picking up some handy skills along the way doesn't hurt either.

All the best to finding your niche and sharing your time, talent and treasure and insights with others to keep the sport of living in good working order! Peace and happy travels to one and all, including the groups of Hells Angels who passed us on I-95S about 1:30pm on the right, then another batch on the left and proceeded to ride between the two outer lanes which were slowing down due to an accident.

I hope there were no serious injuries and that everybuddy can remember to use more kindness and attention (and practice sobriety and safety on all levels) when driving and interacting with others. and even when alone enjoying the freedom we still have for the most part in our United States of A-Miracle (may that be more the case than not.)

Special wishes for peace of heart and mind and Big Love to the immigrants facing challenges at the Mexican-American border. May no more families have to fear or face the legal separation of minors from their parents or other caregivers. Let's find a way to insist that International Human Rights Laws and Protocol be implemented to keep children 'safe and together' with their mothers and their fathers (as long as there is not  abuse from those fathers or other males or family in charge.)

Let's pray that Donald Trump, as the current legal leader of our great nation, can find a way to see the bigger picture of the gift of life and sharing resources and making compromises and collaborating with others to achieve mutual goals. I heard on CNN this morning that POTUS (President of the United States) Trump could end the separation of children from their parents at the border 'with a phone call.' If there's any way that is an option, I hope he can speed dial the call in first thing Monday Morning, June 18th, 2018. #TrumpPlsCall4EndingBorderSeparationofMinorsJune2018 Let's get this party started, with Fathers and Mothers Being Able to Stay With their Children Every Step of the Way toward Asylum and Safety in these modern times of miracles and possibilities!
