Who'd Pay 1000 Dollars A Day to Learn to Talk (About Schtuff?) How About Paying to Hear What They Learned? (Without Having to Give Up A Day?) See Livfully.org
Here are some pricey programs (such as education.mit offers for a 1K/day for a few days or more on communication, leadership, and so on)...maybe good ones, but unless someone lets us know, we will be guessing. In these days that are conflict-ridden more than one expect, the investments and programs are likely worth it.
We likely need to roll out a public education campaign to know who can talk to whom and about what, for how long and under what circumstances...over which time period and so on.
Then basic law would be good to toss in so we all know what the law is and when we may be breaking it (intentionally or unintentionally) regarding speaking to anyone about anything (or anyone else).
Think HIPPA then consider the implications. Vassar alum (with coverage in their Quarterly) has noted digitial domain activity does fall under the law. I imagine we could have computer programs scanning our communications on all levels to see if it passes muster, then allowing for conveying. That few moment delay could be required for the President's Tweets and emails, calls and eventually even conversations...
Meanwhile there are Free Ones such as Compassionate Communication by Thom Bond (the book he wrote) summarizing Nonviolent Communication. There are many study groups on the process, developed by Marshall Rosenberg...Overall there's lots to talk about when it comes to Communication.
Much of it is about tuning into one's owns feelings, needs or inputs (what it takes for one to function physically, socially, economically and ethically and much more...alone, in a dialogue, in conversation on the phone, online or with someone or in a group in person. I will think out loud about this on livfully.org but since the ad popped up with the details I thought I'd keep track of the topic...and who knows maybe take a class sometime (some are offered for free on line or if not needing credit through various places..so Time Management is another key component.)
