What about Gun Control (Background Checks good idea, but what are the trade offs if fewer can defend themselves someone asked on FB)

Here's a response I had to someone saying giving our right to guns up means fewer people can defend themselves. Likely most have reviewed the Sandy Hook Conspiracy (and 9-11/ Project 28 ones too) which can give US-All some clue to the Possible scenarios (not unlike the Scandal TV show which talks about secret groups controlling the gov't..what a concept but then with the JFK and other disclosures of wrongdoing possibilities, more people feel they Have to Consider all the options..will there be more takeover efforts by everyday facets of our society..schools becoming the new vetting spot to prosecute kids for wrongdoing or not making the grade?

Why not have camps for all kids and schools for those who really want to sit still, get tested and learn that way.. free 'home-schooling and charter schools' (some which encourage at least moms to get involved and community-minded groups and parents and adults who will work with kids for years on end if not provide that kind of family-link and support for life?

Okay, I see that's lofty but the pay for the prisons and yes, schools and then use a little money to mention we should help all new moms with their pregnancies and parents with their kids.. well, we fall short of the main preventive efforts by about 5-10years and then miss many other wonderful opportunities to help folks before conflict and crisis hits (and takes huge sums of money and effort to address.) Now back to my initial response..and with sincere concern for the victims of any crime or violence..and special sympathy for the Oregon Families in the most recent challenge of facing sudden change and loss of loved ones.

"He who lives by the sword, dies by the sword..and a woman is 5x more likely to be killed if there's a gun in the house one post said on FB last year" .Worth looking at the stats and considering maybe we have to rethink everything (and let women and kids lead with cooperative care and guidance and Not Participate in the Risky sides of life that too often our media script guys into and the nice guys can join the wise ones in helping turn our ship around. ) We're all likely on the clock for big environmental reasons and economic crunch time so the violence may seem like a solution or sadly a necessity. Switching tracks (and maybe living in compounds or clear groups with agreements to learn about the factors underlying the triggers for conflict and violence could take a few decades of dedicated folks, but we may be in the end zone and may want to ponder our options. Small towns are essentially country clubs so when the pull to go to the cities out of need or convenience happens, then there will be a new set of challenges. We could have more good stuff happening for the few of us here in the land of lovely nature and easy-does-it living...Thanks for considering here and on www.livfully.drupalgardens. com where comments are welcome..
