In addition to the many school years wrapping up formally this time of year marks many 'thinking and growth landmarks." Some folks (hopefully each class or grade level of students can get a flyer or email of congratulations..People may go on other paths so it's nice to address the group energy and the individual efforts and wide support for any venture to have proceeded.

This is the time for celebrations with family, friends and communities and even with parties (and Eco-Fairs such as at Compass Charter School in Brooklyn NY) and graduations (hurrah for everyone completing their studies for each year and on those bigger transition circuits from grade school to middle school, onto high school .

For the record, the majority of the country's young populations have challenges really getting to and through the first year or two of high school.  If that's the case, one is not a 'bad person' or 'failed student.'  We are Much more than our schooling and some say we are practically brainwashed, so maybe there are pros and conse to weigh. I wrote a lot in the past about going to school later rather than earlier so one can mature and keep up on many levels.

I still stand by that but feel pre-K is helpful, and know that most parents Need Daycare or School Care for their children. Wherever one is and however 'far' one has progressed', pat yourself on the back for however much formal studying you've done and realize everyone is 'teaching themselves' and 'grades or judges themselves' not only while a student or in life but maybe even After Life (so asserts Geozuwa who wrote The Other Side...yes That Other side, but he also says we are more connected to that realm or plane more than society or most countries allow their citizens to consider (or dream about anonymously and maybe collectively since so many layers of shame or not allowing thoughts and feelings to be acknowledged happen to most people.)

It may make sense as a 'review and consider the bigger picture of laws and guideline to avoid not walking into trouble unawares or without a clue even for one's own thinking to review the basic biblical ten commandments. These are similar to many guidelines for many societies(which could also be taken note of) from around the world would likely help shed light on the values of feeling connected to the world, other people and possibly the divine or loving spiritual forces as well as being accountable with the Golden Rule. That would be 'treating others the way you would Want to be treated..

.Not how you are treated or imagine yourself to be treated. That could take a few support groups and remembering 'everyone is on their own journey', so to have more help than not.

Okay on that  harmonic, sing your own song but keep most of it legal and on a kind note (in public and in places that one is scrutinized..which does for everyone's information Include One's Home and Relationships--see Domestic Abuse Laws in your state and even new Mental Health Guidelines, Aging or Other Medical Guidelines designed to prevent people from harming Others or Themselves when there are indications of such. (Wellness checks by police or other intervenors are legal..and again many people are held in court or prison for allegations, contempt of court violations, not making bail or 'three strikes' and so on.)
