A summary of a talk I heard about the product Vital Reds full of Polyphenols which might help one's health
I am sharing info I learn of and resources to check out with your own professional, qualified health practitioners. I am not endorsing or recommending any particular products, programs or people on my blog here, but sharing info for more people to consider and save time learning about things...
I am hearing a talk online by Dr. Steven Gundry of Yale Univ. (who wrote about the history of the human diet..which long ago included berries, roots and some meat...)who says to 'cut out soy products' due to digestive issues, cancer, and drains vitality due to impacting the thyroid gland and more..yikes..
.Also he says Wheatgrass is not helpful either. He says it's something that may be full of chlorophyl yet also might have toxins, and goji berries not good either..according to his research showing a lack of evidence but also because they are full of lectins since they are part of the nightshade plants family.
Lectins can disrupt your digestive system, causing leaks in the intestines (so yes, Leaky Gut Syndrome)...and cause endothelial dysfunction (weakening of blood vessels and other signs of cardio vascular disease.) He did some of his own studies...He increased polyphenols after eliminating lectins from diets of people with endothelial dysfunction and other heart problem symptoms.
In 2013 he presented this study to American Heart Assoc. Nightshades also include potatoes, peppers, eggplant and tomatoes by the way...so worth keeping track or eliminating for a while and see how one feels. The good guys fruit of polyphenols which can help boost energy and heart health, lower cholesterol, level blood sugar, help with aging symptoms of joints and skin and boost metabolism especially over age 40. So those include dark berries... blueberries, berberine, cranberries, pomegranates, blackberries, mulberries and others.
After farming came into history, grains, starches such as corn) were introduced and more diet challenges came along that hurt metabolism...Those convert into fat. Polyphenols can revitalize a body and alleviate health problems... helping one feel better and live better.
Anthocyanins from dark berries can help cholesterol concerns. 70% of the immune system lives in one's digestive tract....and probiotics can help with good functioning especially if given more polyphenols. He has a product offering the benefits of the berries...So he offers a product called Vital Reds and I noticed that there is chromium pincolyate or therabouts in it...that can possibly raise blood pressure (even as it lowers blood sugar...) and also there's green tea extract which I think may have caffeine in it...
I know Matcha is something folks like too but that's a different product etc (not from him etc...) and then there's Maca which Dr. Anna Cabeca talks up...Now if anyone wants to talk more about her products and such (Julva cream ) some say it's okay but there's fine print saying to do more research about potential concerns about the ingredients...But at least people are trying to figure things out with more natural remedies and getting client and other public reviews...
