Shout out to Ryan from Hartford selling make-up in Millerton

Met a nice young fellow with personality and people skills in the grocery store where he was allowed to ask folks to buy make up..Quite a few takers in the 15 min I saw him. We got talking about his skills to talk to people, be friendly and polite (calling women 'Miss'). He is doing an internship and that's part of his program, selling  make up. When I mentioned I had a son who passed away at age 16 in the course of our short talk about dangers in Hartford, and I said he likely didn't need to worry about natural dangers, such as drowning in a river, he said he lost about 10 friends who tried to go for a swim in the CT River about 5 years ago...and didn't make it. So he knew all too well..let's be careful to keep it on the road..our cars, our bodies in safe places, our minds and relationships in the realm of safety and respect.
