A Penny for Your Thoughts... A Buck for me to give you Some Tips ( but on the house!)

Saying hello to everyone in celebration of the Big Parade in Canaan at 6pm and the festivities and fireworks thereafter..

.I do encourage people to give their kids earplugs to teach them to press the natural tab in to block hearing rather than only cover one's ears...and Earplugs or silencing headphones may do the trick even better...and for any with infants, please watch from within a car since I've had some folks share they had bad effects on the kids..and even if pregnant, please use precaution and Protect From Loud Sounds (and jarring movements, hot tubs or hot baths, etc and other ideas along those lines...)

Live as though you have an infant in your arms if you are pregnant and you'll figure out the right boundaries...no flips and dives or heavy dancing, running and so forth...walking is okay and as they say 'all things in moderation.'

Free tips from one who heard many over the decades and feel free to PM to chat for support with rearing kids and caregiving in general... tons of advice online but some ol' fashion networking and such helps too. Some schools and libraries have good selections of parenting books and maybe YSB< Youth service bureaus do too..or maybe we could make a shelf in the free standing libraries with such books on the lower shelf for instance.

The more good PR there is for safety, health, communication, guidance for all forms of relationships and living in a home or shared area, the better...and easier to share ideas. That said, fun is Fun too with teamwork too.

Thanks for driving and living safely and sensibly as the summer heats up! Thanks to all the volunteers and caregivers in the communities too...and especially those in fire and ambulance departments, medical and many who lead towns in basic and comprehensive ways (not insurance, but from roads and power, to guidance, education and lots more...)

Share the kudos as you can to keep everyone encouraged...and Masks are fine to wear and may help others stay safer who may be at risk for any reason... even from stomach bugs and such so 'wash hands and say hello with words and fewer hugs if not needed...and always with permission for being close to someone' these times and better shared terms taking root as they are.'

See more ideas on Livfully.org and staying cool is the rule too so always 'walk away' if someone or thing is 'bothering you...' that's the Big Person Thing To Do and worth practicing with kids and others for 'just in case scenarios..."

Thanks for not going close to water or dangerous areas too and having town and adult permission and supervision if going into the risky areas with proper guidance (life vests, training, cell phones and throw ropes handy, systems to keep track of one another in a crowd and a third party to call in case someone doesn't answer and so on...

Even texting along the way when on a trip can keep someone updated about game plans and give one more input than not about travel and weather etc. Tonight expect Delays in Canaan and bring strollers, mosquito repellant and other goodies to be outdoors with comfort (and from here on out get under cover if you hear thunder as in a car or building if there's time...)
