Looking Forward to a Decade of Hope Starting in 2020 With Visionary Leaders and Team Players!
To the Editor:
December 2019 is here and full of surprises for everybuddy! There are challenges on many fronts, but a a growing sense of people working together and allowing more help from many angles (if not angels) to address transitions and create healing and helping people and our planet on many fronts.
According to most faiths and many scientists, thought leaders such as Steven Greer, Jarrad Hewett, Jenn McLean, Deepak Chopra, Gregg Braden and even Presidential Candidate Marianne Williamson there is really is more to life than meets the eye. YouWealthRevolution.com and TheShiftNetwork.com offer many free talks to help unite the humanity.
The key to many of these changes is having more individuals, groups, towns, cities, states and countries feel connected and involved with the efforts to be part of a helpful team of caring, capable people.
Even though Hannukah, Christmas as well as Solstice and Kwanzaa and even New Year's Eve espouse hope, faith in something greater and a focus beyond basic physical material needs, there isn't much public discussion about the interaction and impact these kinds of events and energies may provide. Are they the icing on the cake or the underlying foundation of humanity and the world?
Might the insights from quantum science and even the latest theories or human development remove many of the blinders and barriers that have been the basis of conflict, fear, war, challenges for individuals--particularly women and children, and all people of color in last few hundred years.
Now our earth and everything on it, from land and water to air, plants, animals and of course people are at a pinnacle moment when all voices and choices are being tallied whether from the heart, in song, in public forums (which thankfully includes local independent journalism) and meaningful respectful internet sites.
That includes professional, funded sites such as those of Ralph Nader, Salisbury Forum, CATV6 and many personal blogs. Every state and municipal area could have more commentators helping create ways for people to feel connected to issues and particularly to politics, health and safety efforts.
On my journaling out loud kind of blog, livfully.org I share thoughts, events and ideas as a forum to enhance community in rural and urban settings. If people are inspired to 'put a little something' into the blog, they may write to me at thinkingkapp@gmail.com or request me to call them so we can talk on the phone.
Many people have good ideas and even funds to support efforts but it's important to share and ask, even as I am doing here. Vassar College offers the chance for an alum over age 40 a Time-Out Grant to pursue a project for a year with a $75K award. I may apply for that someday yet have been inspired by the notion even when it was $40K a year. What would you do if you had such a chance?
Live as though dreams of peace (forgiveness, healing) and prosperity for all can come true and surprise, that just may happen more than we can comprehend! Here's to more Super Surprises for Sharin' and Carin' in the next decade! --Catherine Palmer Paton, Falls Village CT
