Lisa Madsen offering insights about caregiver burn-out... Let's learn more sooner rather than later!

I hope every college and high school if not grade school could teach more folks about 'burn out' such as offered by Lisa Madsen...and the early warning signs so people can be aware of the pressure they are under..
.I may make some of my own charts since I find multi-tasking with a dog barking, a person who can't hear or otherwise calling out for something, trying to manage someone's bills and save them money and so forth can add up to Too Much at Once to be able to really get the technical stuff done if not aware of the tally.
I know to 'slow down and take a break'...and think about what the feelings and even fears are beneath the feeling of stress. Not being able to solve a life issue long-term for someone else is a worry...and fixing the small stuff is really not the game-changer I'd like it to be. So once I accept that, everything shifts back into perspective...but it is nice to get some stuff done (and I am still open to help along those lines and let folks on FB know that as well as some few friends who do have an interest and a bit of time...)
Maybe another day and time it would be fun to explore more about stress (I did some of that in my social psych class...looking at the difference between assertiveness and aggression.)...part of a play or friendly challenge (such as an improv acting exercise of having two people speak to me at once and I was supposed to summarize what they said...I think not) Can anyone relate? Parenting young ones was a bit like that...but that was eons ago.
Plenty of older people are caring for elders (that's anywhere in their 70s, 80s and even 90s...) They are amazing and yet, should not have to do that as a given if at all.
Whether someone is being paid or helping someone out, it's important to have support. That means nannies, sitters of all kinds (including for pets) and teachers and so on, all deserve a lot of acknowledgement for the effort and experiences they are giving and sharing in.
I will wrap this up on the positive note that there's the American Mural Project in Winsted CT with a great amount of effort putting final touches on the decade(s) long effort.
In terms of another 'gift' to our area and country, there is a 130 acre forest in Falls Village CT designated to be a final resting place for people's cremains (ashes) as well as for those of their pets. When needing to plan ahead it helps to have options and connections.
That location is right near the Music Mountain concert venue (classical and some other types too, but not last year.) Hope that is helpful and again eases burden when one is facing difficult, sad or even more manageable times of a person's end of life. Being supportive for those in their final years or at the end of their days is a time and art that merits more attention from society. Thanks to all for being there for others in the good times and in times of need as well...
Peace, love and light as we begin a new year and important part of our shared journey in our country and the world at large. I share lots more to consider on Livfully.org, an informal forum for ideas and place to ask questions and explore life (with the big IF in it...) together.
