on Tue, 06/30/2020 - 19:27

Passing this along directly from an email I got from Hakeem Jeffries, Rep from NY. This is Federal money however, so check it out whichever state you are in, if you have your own business (sole proprietorship), or may qualify for other funds (maybe homeowners, renters, non-profits and more.) Step 1, Find a lender or learn more about being eligible, Step 2, Fill out the form with your info, Step 3, Submit the form online with email info etc so you can hear back. Get a friend to help if needed, and this is the last day to apply...sorry for the short notice (maybe I did mention it once before though. Also think about applying for unemployment if you haven't yet. There are forms online to see if you...Qualify!

Dear Neighbor,

The deadline for small businesses and nonprofits to apply for Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans is TODAY, Tuesday, June 30, 2020. As of this morning, $134,453,990,454 remains available in the program for eligible applicants.

PPP loans provide access to capital to cover the cost of retaining employees. The Small Business Administration (SBA) will forgive loans if at least 60% of the loan is used for payroll and the rest of the loan can be used for payroll, rent, mortgage interest or utilities. For more information from the SBA, click here

The SBA is also accepting Emergency Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) applications from all eligible businesses. The EIDL program offers low-interest federal disaster loans of up to $2 million, with quick access to small amounts of capital to cover costs right now.
