Joining together with the forces of Love and Light to get through the Night of the Storm

on Fri, 10/07/2016 - 04:05

Like the rest of the county, I have been concerned about the damage Hurricane Matthew is delivering to Haiti and likely to the US Eastern Coast. I have folks I am close to down that way, but have heard that they along with over a million people have left their homes for safety, at the direction of the Governor Rick Scott. When Scott, says "Scoot" it's time to do that especially near the beach or in substandard housing. Grim thoughts of the lives that could be lost if people did not leave are in the news.

Then I got an email from a healing type group (Kumari I think). Their idea they shared was to tune into the possibilities that this is a major cleansing storm and activating more healers on the planet. That is 'beings of light and higher love' were working to affect the weather pattern, namely this storm and the funnel of energy would somehow transmit more good than harm..." I haven't had much time to think on that, but it was a very different perspective.

I realize everyone has to deal with this 'one way or the other' and to consider there could be a positive reason or effect for us spiritually and emotionally had slipped my mind. Some say "All things work together for Good for those who seek good, or in other words, believe in G-d (honoring the way the Jewish people do not spell out the holy name). Okay, so that's a lot to squeeze into the post before I hit the haystack. I am praying peace from all loving beings here on earth and above, and safety on all levels as well for people and the planet and the homes and communities in the path of the storm. May it find it's way out to sea sooner rather than later.

Once a storm was headed for the Edgar Cayce center in VA Beach and took a sharp turn shortly before hitting land. I recall hearing that on an online video. There is much to ponder and likely more to accept as an unfolding of events for our individual and collective evolution spiritually and otherwise. Such condtions due draw us together and put a lot on perspective. Let's all move with gratitude and a sense of care as we seek what occurs. Teamwork and recovery efforts will be making the headlines next, and hopefuly we can all pitch in with funds and help to make them a success.

Hugs to all, and hold tight, keep the faith. For the 200 plus people who have passed over in Haiti from Hurricane Matthew may their souls be at peace and their families supported during this very difficult time. Haiti is the recipient of many efforts, but the overall challenges always seem an uphill battle. Hopital Albert Schweitzer is a wonderful charity and likely is helping many at this time as it had for decades. Folks from the Sharon Congregational Church in CT have had people do mission work there for many years long ago and continue to donate annually. Inge Dunham did a great deal of work with many groups as well such as Rotary International to provide needed equipment to that mission as well as others such as one in Cambodia. Many efforts can encourage others to join in and help deliver much needed goods and personnel to 'the front lines of love and helping humanity'.

The Greenwoods Community Church in Ashley Falls MA also provides many missions support in needy countries, with many making short or longer volunteer visits. They also had guest missionaries speak about The Lily of the Valley Mission in Southern Africa where 120 orphans can be cared for with housing and education and living in group homes with a main caregiver and helpers. What a blessing to those little ones and to those able to give here and abroad. Thanks for pitching in to any of those programs and others as you may be led. Every dollar (and ten dollars and more) makes a life-giving difference!
