Great News, You CAN See the Nutcracker online! (I thought that was too much to wish for, but happy it's an option!)

I was happy to get this reminder in my email from the Nutmeg Ballet of Torrington CT which I have enjoyed knowing about (and training for a summer with the Torrington School of Ballet teachers in a summer workshop back when I was in college...and pulled off doing a triple pirouette, not on pointe mind you, but on my own ball of my foot... a moment that plays out magically in time for me like a chime amidst sparkles..most folks in dance, arts, sports and pursuing a dream know That Feeling... even if not in sweaty studio with dozens of awesome dancers...and Yes, I got to massage Victoria's feet somewhere along the way in class (that was a thing they encouraged us to do from time to time...and Natasha another amazing dancer complimented me on my awesome big feet knowing that was key to jumping high and landing well...also came in handy for running, soccer and gymnastics and diving before the dancing took center stage in my life when I got into ECA, Educational Center for the Arts in New Haven CT on Audubon Street...

Might that have been a hint of me someday living at an Audubon Center for twenty years and seeing the great dance of nature, nurturing little birds and injured ones and hearing about all the concerns linked to protecting habitat for birds...and ourselves as well. Let the dance in real life, friendships, imagination and more Continue since our planet needs us.

My friend I help was watching a show about Understanding Cousteau, as in Jacques who explored the wonders of the ocean and marine life. I recall giving a friend KarenKisslinger.com a few videos of his work back in the day and she really appreciated it. She's in spirit now but remembering loved ones may be a way they are saying hello too some suggest

, I honor the loving, caring important possiblities and explore more on this blog Livfully.org as well as in stories such as The Turtle and The Acorn (free online here) and an audio of The Jewel Story by Catherine Palmer Paton (yes, me, from back when I told that first part to my kids..and there is a 2nd part I hope to get out  in 2022) about a half hour long worth hearing about 5 minutes as time for instance (if teaching listen through then let your class draw their own pictures and make their own 'next part' before heaing what I share... The mystery and magic of storytelling in its many forms, even making up dances and songs and music to go along with the adventure can be part of any celebration or learning experience. Okay so that

From the email from the Nutmeg Ballet
"Last weekend, our students amazed us. All their diligent work, the many hours they poured into the studio, and the dedication of our staff and volunteers, came together to bring Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's masterpiece to life. We have one weekend of performances left, at the Warner Theatre in downtown Torrington. We hope to see you there!
Do not miss this essential, spellbinding holiday story. Tickets, for both livestreamed and in-person tickets, are still available for all performances: December 18th, at 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM, and December 19th, at 2:00 PM. "
