Anytime is a Great Time for BrainTime.com Programs and Free Resource Library (Not While Driving Etc though)
Happy 2020 after January 20th, 2020 which Jen McLean online offered a lovely program to enjoy (with free replays.) That is Not Linked to what I am about to tell you in terms of affiliations and I don't get kickbacks for anything I tell you from a company. I am just sharing information freely trusting it can help more seekers along the healing path.
So, drumroll, this is a doozie (as are Jen's monthly programs on the 20th of the month, then next year on the 21st and in 2022 on the 22nd of the month through the Next Decade, How Cool Is That? Put those on your calendar for the Live Calls and again the replays are there even from the past years I believe.) It's a way to tame time... give you some touch points along the way and understand many other kinds of caring and helpful plans (for oneself and others) can be 'put on the calendar) whether officially or more personally for an hour, less or more.I find all of that Vey Empowering and Helpful.
I heard about BrainTime.com from an email about yoga from Laura Cornell whose married to the fellow who helped design the program for partly personal reasons...His former wife had a brain injury and he wanted to help her improve her brain function. I found that a very touching motivation and was ready to listen more. Then he explains how the simple listening technique, requiring a computer or cell phone and a set of head phones oriented with L and R connection to the corresponding Left and Right Ears, is needed.
There is a simple test on the first set of tapes below them to orient the headphones with your ears. That part and getting signed in were tricky for me at first, but I kept in touch with them and they walked me through things and let me know there was an unusual glitch with my account so Not to take it personally. Apparently even though I signed up for the free trial (paying on my card which won't be charged until the first 45 days are up,so I have to mark my calendar if I don't plan to continue but I thought I'd do an extra month and see how it goes...
My only concern now is whether I can readily get it on my phone due to space on my apps if I don't take my computer on a trip for a month..but that's not on their end. I could sign in on other devices but consistency as in 5 min am and pm is best for the program to have the calming clearing effect on the brain.
Mostly there are great resources on BrainTime.com for one to access for free. So with No Pressure (to get that trial which was offered but may not be now...) Check it out with a friend or two. See how it sounds to you, even with the samples. Take your Time learning about BrainTime.com offerings. When it's in your home I imagine it's find to share with your family so that would be a deal to have peace and support for those in your household.
What a novel approach to stress and 'counseling' by agreeing to 'tune up one's brain function.' Being aware of the option is basically half the magic I'd say, to ease worry and a sense of having to deal with things alone. Who knew one's brain was responsive to sounds in certain patterns?
I've been hearing of other programs along these lines, in general a kind of sound therapy. ChristineLaria.com offers sounds to calm, clear imbalances and more. Again a completely different enterprise separate from the BrainTime.com but worth some free trials that she offers. Some should be heard for 2 weeks daily, so doing the program is likely a fair way to assess the effectiveness.
Time to check my headset and get listening to my daily am 5-minute dose of BrainTime.com Relax (or Sleep which does not make one sleepy but can help one fall asleep when desired apparently.) They say a happy balanced brain can help one feel better and live well, so that sounds promising across the board for people of all ages. Here's to improving over time with BrainTime.com offerings and others that inspire you as well.
