Quote from Sherrily Ifill, head of the NAACP Legal Defense Team, Speaks Out Comprehensively on 60 Minutes

Bill Whitaker: After all you have witnessed about race relations in the United States, what gives you hope?

Sherrilyn Ifill: Well, I don't know of anything in the history of black people in this country, in which I've read some account in which it ended with, "And then they gave up." That's just not what we do. I know that we work for the future of our children, and our grandchildren, and their children. Paypal Donating $530 Million to Black Communities, Hooray!

on Fri, 06/12/2020 - 19:49

When I was checking my Paypal.com link I found this great announcement. Things really may be taking off in a positive direction with the idea of people Stepping Up and Saying What Is Desired (in sync with the greater good not greed.)

I will get back to what I was looking into and realize that some purchases under 100 dollars are not eligible for the 6 months of interest free credit, oops! Best not to use that Paypal Credit for small purchases or donations.

Well hopefully some of the interest I paid (less than a hundred but still much more than I expected...) will go to the good causes.

Catherine Palmer Paton In Front of the Capitol Building In Hartford CT, May 16, 2009 photo

on Fri, 06/12/2020 - 19:05
This photo is one I've had up since the inception of this page....It was taken at the CT Capitol in Hartford. I had just had a birthday a couple days prior...and had gotten a hug from our teen son Kaelan Palmer Paton who I wasn't able to see for a few years (a very unfortunate set of events that sadly occur far too often not only for no good reason but actually for 'warning sign bad' reasons..

That's another set of topics I cover in part on Livfully.org.) So consider if you possibly can, being separated from one or more of your kids for a few years then having one of them pass away

A Soccer Travesty, A Traffic Snaffew, And Other Everyday Not Forgotten Hard Times (and Crimes)

I responded to a post on Linked In about a police man being protected by a group of protestors. I think the policeman was white and the protectors were black also, linking arms, God bless them.
