Looking Forward to Hearing US Rep. Hakeem Jeffries in Brooklyn NY TonightU.S

on Thu, 01/31/2019 - 19:47

Even with super cold temperatures, I anticipate a great crowd turning up at the annual address by US Congressional Representative of NY Hakeem Jeffries. I wasn't sure I'd be able to make it, but so far things look good.

So then I can fill you in on what he shares in his no-nonsense let's get 'er done approach to fixing things locally and yes, nationally. He has a few words to say about what's happened with the POTUS Donald Trump in the White House and actions affecting all the breadth and width of this country..and beyond.

Okay, stay tuned and I'll aim to tune into the highlights and what

Woo-Who! Marianne Williamson Running for POTUS in 2020, #Marianne2020

on Thu, 01/31/2019 - 15:11

Great news to wrap up the month of January 2019, Marianne Williamson announced that she is running for President of the United States...and is leading the way for the majority of Americans (99% and as many 1%ers who see the light and want a more level playing field for Americans and even others, by pursuing peace and prevention rather than war and destruction as a winning strategy to join our collective life forces together in a meaningful, humane and profitable way.)

That's my take-away from her inspiring talk, so give yourself a treat and listen to her speak online (with a quick google,

Group Kindness Paper Chain...Good to create or ponder and fine tune

on Fri, 01/25/2019 - 21:38

A caring hundred of so folk have made a real paper chain of hearts with their own first name and a way to be kind. Back in the 1980s at Vassar, I created a Community Valentine Board, for people to post anonymously or otherwise ideas about love, friendship and people in their hearts.

A Time for Affinity and Friendship...and learning about every Angel On Duty

on Thu, 01/24/2019 - 01:30

I had the pleasure of meeting Terah Cox almost ten years ago in Great Barrington MA. She was up at Crystal Essence giving a five-hour talk about her delightful book Birth Angels. I was eager to hear more and get a new perspective on that mystical experience of angels. Always nice to know someone who knows someone special. This took that feeling of a 'friend of a friend' to a whole new level. Her site is www.heavenandearthworks.com

She was quite down-to-earth and shared her story which I'll let you glean from her website.

Forest Talk By Catherine Palmer Paton

on Thu, 01/24/2019 - 01:12

Asks the Acorn of the Oak,

"Why am I so small?

Where will my branches reach?

When will my leaves abound?

How will my roots grow deep?"

Says the Oak to the Acorn,

"Now you are small so you can grow tall.

From inside your branches will stretch wide.

Season to season your leaves will increase.

Little by little your roots will grow deep,

Both when you're awake and when you're asleep.

So Dream Big, Walk Tall, and Live Well, Young Oak.

You're As You Should Be. Share Your Joy and Your Hope!"
