Lightening Up with Baby Talk...and Heart Talk too (see Gregg Braden's free four-part series, June/July 2019)

Hello All and then some... Hope this finds you well (and mostly heading to sleep zones before midnight.)

Many wonderful singers and musicians are currently at Old Songs in Altamont NY (worth looking up what's going on there on youtube etc or online...good heart energies I'd say and likely a few tributes to our late Caroline and Sandy Paton and family, here and above ( including our late teen son Kaelan...and Lee Haggerty, the other founder of Folk-Legacy.)

Good rockin' the babes songs too (and I do promote the idea of rocking in a stepping pattern to make it a win-win for the knees

Hot Topics of the Week: #1 The European Heat Wave, #2 Left Forum in BKLYN NY...and More

on Sun, 06/30/2019 - 02:42

I saw a post on FB about people suffering a terrible heat wave this week and likely into next (we can always pray for the winds to change and the rain to fall...) in Europe. The article cited was from Grist with a headline "It's so hot in Europe, the temperature map is screaming".

The article included a map of the heat hot spots and such which had a resemblance of "The Scream" (also pictured.) They also relayed that a heat wave like this one in 2003 was related to 30,000 deaths. Extensive forest fires in Spain were among the pressing matters 'making things worse.'

At the Left Forum in Brooklyn NY, in the post discussion wrap up after the formal Q & C (Question and Comment section after a screening of Coup D'Etat,Ben Grosscup sung to a few of us, including the documentary producer Jeff Cohen of Coup D'Etat. The film Coup D'etat, also produced by Fred Peabody, is worth looking up online for reviews.

Once Upon a Tornado! And Other Trouble too!

on Fri, 06/28/2019 - 05:21

Here's my share about the Cornwall CT Tornado of July 10th, 1989...30 years ago. I read a lot of other comments on CT's Northwest Corner Chatter.  There are thankfully not too many tornadoes do such carnage as that one,  particularly with the devastation of Cathedral Pines. Yet there are some serious storms and conditions to be on the watch for not only from above but as I share also (for those who haven't caught up on the theme of the last many posts, of the passing of our teen son Kaelan ten years ago, in June 2009, in the Housatonic River in CT.)

This turn of events rocked my world as

Whose Ready to Treat themselves to BeginToHeal.com? Hopefully You and Those You Share This Amazing Resource With!

Pooja Khanna, the delightful inspiring founder of BeginToHeal.com has a glow and sparkle about her.

As do the handful of practitioners I met last night out of the dozens she has in her amazing network.

I will direct you to seek more information to encourage you to learn from their offerings online and in person in the NYC area (and likely some can do Skype or Distance work I imagine, but don't quote me.)

I will aim to learn more. I wanted to post what Pooja Khanna sent me but I haven't figured that out yet.

Still this should get you going that healing direction.
