Catherine Palmer Paton In Front of the Capitol Building In Hartford CT, May 16, 2009 photo

This photo is one I've had up since the inception of this page....It was taken at the CT Capitol in Hartford. I had just had a birthday a couple days prior...and had gotten a hug from our teen son Kaelan Palmer Paton who I wasn't able to see for a few years (a very unfortunate set of events that sadly occur far too often not only for no good reason but actually for 'warning sign bad' reasons..

That's another set of topics I cover in part on Livfully.org.) So consider if you possibly can, being separated from one or more of your kids for a few years then having one of them pass away

I responded to a post on Linked In about a police man being protected by a group of protestors. I think the policeman was white and the protectors were black also, linking arms, God bless them.

Keeping the Activism and Energy for Healing Our Society Strong

o the Editor;
In the midst of adjusting to COVID19 recently, I asked for people to reflect on their lives and consider anew, "What does it mean to you and to us to Live Fully?"

That seems a luxury now, so let US All consider, what does it mean to live with compassion for one another in light of the #BlackLivesMatter movement reignited by the tragic turn of events and loss of yet another person to police and systemic injustice and criminal behavior thankfully captured on video for all the world to see?

 Joining with the peaceful protestors, our country can take a collective moment of silence

Remembering Kaelan A. Palmer Paton...Thinking KAPP, Staying Strong With His Song

on Thu, 06/11/2020 - 03:11
With more concerns to face as a community, let's remember all we've pulled through with courage and care. Many thanks to the steadfast hard work of those in the rescue teams, firefighters and earnest police as well.

There is a lot more to what transpired when Kaelan passed (and I wrote over the years online, Remembering Kaelan Alexander Palmer Paton....)

More people are seeing the connections between systemic and even local shortcomings or 'breaks in the systems' as well as the need for more voluntary networking and support for people to have the basics and to be accountable.
