Looking at The Berkshire Eagle Tuesday, Nov. 29th (a good friend's birthday so Happy 59th most dedicated petcare sitter I know whose helped hundreds over the decades!) I learned of 1Berkshire Entrepreneurs Networking (BEN may be what one group was called or maybe this one is similar...) They were offering an open house at CATA, Community Access to The Arts and it was held at their spectacular space at 420 Stockbridge Rd in Great Barrington MA. I saw a former Toastmaster friend who works at SBA in MA along with others, helping a few hundred people get their businesses up and running.

 A Letter to Support the Maternity Ward at Sharon Hospital of CT (copied and shared without any edits)

Earlier this year, the corporate owner of Sharon Hospital, Nuvance Health, applied to Connecticut’s healthcare and hospital regulator, the Office of Health Strategy (OHS), to close the maternity unit at Sharon Hospital.

The maternity unit remains open at this time. We have been working alongside the non-profit community group, Save Sharon Hospital, to prevent this closure, and we are asking for your assistance in helping us to do everything we can to keep maternity open.

Thousands of people are trying to process the sudden loss of people who worked together at Walmart and are seeking information as to whether there were warning signs. Apparently one woman had filed a report in September about him asking rudely if it wasn't time for her to think about having kids, and also commenting that she was short and such to a point her mother felt concerned for her safety. He had a review but was put back in his role of a leader. When sharing on the comments about what could be done not only by management, but also workers, I offered the following.
